I would suggest checking what the minimum OS X version your version XCode supports and use that. Either that, or go with using 10.6 as the minimum since that's the earliest version of OS X that 10.9 can be upgraded from.

I could be wrong -I dumped OS X ages ago- but that's my suggestion(s).

Today I bought a Mac Mini, I'll be using it to do Mac development for
Imprudence.  We might manage to use it for Kokua development to, but
I'm concentrating on Impy for now.

You can keep up with my progress at
http://wiki.kokuaviewer.org/wiki/Imprudence_talk:Compiling where I'm
making notes, with the objective of updating the actual compile
instructions once I got it working.

Does any one have any ideas about what should be the oldest supported
OSX version?

Right now though, I'm going to bed.  Been a long day.

A big old stinking pile of genius that no one wants
coz there are too many silver coated monkeys in the world.
