[kokua-dev] Kokua viewer

I am going to place this message on our kokua-dev mailing list. There are likely others that know more about the educational tools than I.
I do not have in depth knowledge of opensim software. I am assuming though, that snoodle is reliant on a voice server. Please look over this post http://www.hypergridbusiness.com/2013/04/vivox-makes-it-easier-to-get-voice-for-opensim/ which explains how to get a free vivox license for small grid operators.

What platform will you students use, windows or linux? I can provide a link to a test viewer for that platform.

>>There is a kokua team and we have a few additional contributors. Kokua 3.5.2 is for both. We have not separated kokua. One viewer for both simulator types however, it is lacking the full path finding features when used in Secondlife(SL). University of Cincinnati has an opensim presence (grid) and a region on SL. The SL region has freebie whiteboards. I have not registered on their opensim grid but I assume they have them there also. Chris Collins would be a good contact for you and may be able show you the way to some free educational tools that can be used on opensim.

>>What platform are you using. I am at the tail end of a release cycle and could build a test viewer with the items I have added since the Kokua-3.5.2, if interested please let me know.
